The fishing slowed up a little this week with high temperature and bright blue skies dominating for the first four days of the week. A change to cooler and showery weather has set in over the weekend.
Local rod Adrian Winchester got the week up and Running with an 11lbr from the old woman's on beat 11. Callum Imray had two in an afternoon from beat 3, Chris Sutcliffe had two, one from Loch Beg his second from beat 10. Alan Hodgeson enjoyed his first experience of salmon fishing and landed two fish for his week, the first, an 8lbr from Dale stream on beat 8 and the second was a stunning fresh 14lbr from beat 2.
Tim Hawes, John Snell, Julia Fulford and Sam Kyd all had two apiece. Frank Bell, Bruce Clayton, Kevin Cordery, Michael Warwick Douglas Dick-Reid all added a fish to the total.
Next week looks cooler and more unsettled with predominantly northerly winds forecast.
