We had our first proper hard frost this autumn on Monday morning with temperatures down to minus 5 at loch More, this is a lot later than we would normally expect and just shows how mild the weather has been thanks in no small part to the wind generally being in a southerly direction for the last six weeks.
The main river has remined high most of the week giving little opportunity to assess the number of redds, hopefully with settled weather for the week ahead our team will get a chance to get out a look.
