It was another good week on the river with a total of 113 landed by our anglers. Had the overhead conditions not turned brighter toward the end of the week our numbers would have been very close if not better than the previous week.

Callum Cheape had another great week landing well into double figures. Dr Tim Morgan ended a two week trip with sixteen in total. Richard Medley landed six, the best 17lb from beat 3. Lawrence Dalglish and Stuart Miller had eight between them. Norman Taylor and Stuart Mills shared four, while Tori Tomlin, Christian Hampel and Alan Cormie all landed two. Ken Debney fishing his fourth and final week on the Thurso for 2026 landed three.

Warwick Hayes Landed his first Thurso salmon from beat 11 weighing 11lb and ended the week with four. Nigel Steele, Lewis and Steve Medley, James Robbins, Steve Burley, Mike Sturgeon, Stuart Ingledew and Rachel Wardell all catching a few.

With seven days of the season remaining there is no shortage of optimism that these final few days can be every bit as fruitful as the last few weeks.
