We ended this past week with 10 fish in the book, not bad considering water levels are at their lowest level since June last year. Without the backup of Loch More, the river, like many others in the Northeast East are currently experiencing, would have been on its bones many weeks ago.

Steven Drury landed the first of the week from beat 9, Steven would go on to catch another two for his week. Steve Ramshaw had a brace. Terry Mcdermott, Kevin Hiddlestone, Tom Jenkins and John Hall all adding to the total. 

With so many fish in the river, opportunities are to be had with the right overheads and a good wind. A stealthy approach with lighter tackle, and resting pools will often prove beneficial.
