The challenging weeks continue to roll one into another. Bright blue skies have once again been consistent but there was always a bite from a cold northerly breeze, this helped keep air and water temperatures at a safe level for the salmon in the river.
Like last week trout fishing was a popular alternative during those brighter spells, with loch More having a few decent sessions throughout the week.
At long last the weather has finally shifted from the high pressure systems which have dominated for over a month, The week ahead is looking more unsettled with periods of rain and strong winds, only time will tell if it brings sufficient rainfall.
Tight lines next week.
