Weekly Report
It is not uncommon to get warm days in the north of Scotland but this past week has seen an exceptionality warm period with daytime temperatures averaging 27' Celsius with barely a cloud in the sky. As the week progressed the best opertunities were early mornings and late evenings, and with 6 fish for the week it was probably more than we expected giving the conditions.
Philip Pledger had the first for the week from beat 4, Alan Campbell had two in two days from beats 8 & 9, Ian Adams also had two and Nigel Cox fishing well beyond sunset had one.
At this point we would take any change that comes our way that helps to cool things down and thankfully the first half of next week looks unsettled.
