With the weather finally showing signs of being more forgiving over the past week it was somewhat of a surprise a fresh springer wasn't encountered.

For the first time in months, there was warmth to the late winter sunshine. Thursday was a wet day  which produced a lift of 10 inches overnight into Friday. 

The forecast is looking settled for next week, the first fish of the season shouldn't be too far away now.
