Another tough week comes to an end with the fish proving difficult to tempt despite good numbers of fresh fish entering the river from the sea daily. Overhead conditions became increasingly difficult as we progressed through the week with rising temperatures and the risk of thunder never to far away.

Ian Bain had the first of the week from beat 10, Ian would have a further two for his week. Freddy Sutherland had two for his week as did Peter Cox whilst Peter Duncan, Mike Leach and Denis Lyons all picked up a fish each. Lilly Hives caught her first ever salmon from Jamie Sutherlands on beat 9, Tristan Friend caught his first Thurso salmon from beat 11. Graeme Bruce-Gardener, Nigel Cox and John Waggott completing the weeks catches.

When this spell of warm muggy weather does break the fish will come back on the take and we should have some exceptional fishing.
