The wait for more spring-like weather ended this week with temperatures comfortably in double figures each day. While it was nice to feel some warmth in the air the only downside to this was four of the six days saw clear blue skies and light winds, not the most ideal conditions which made enticing those springers difficult at times. 

John Wood had the first of the week from Beat 13 on Monday and followed this up with a second from Beat 9. Alan Campbell had a great 3 days landed two which nearly ended up as three. Geoff Henstridge had one from beat 2. Peter Johnson, Nigel Olesen and David Masson all adding one to the catches.

The forecast for next week looks a little better with more consistent cloud cover and slightly cooler air temperatures.
