While it was disappointing not to see a January Springer it was not unexpected given the unsettled weather. The river rose multiple times last week alone due to periods of heavy rain.

However, now that we are into the month of February our chances of catching the first fish of the season will steadily improve. The upcoming week looks promising with high pressure expected to dominate.
