Despite some welcome rainfall this week there was little change in river levels, likely due to the dry ground absorbing much of what fell, but at least it is raining more frequently now. Looking ahead next week the forecast looks unsettled with further periods of rain and some strong winds, fingers crossed we see more substantial rainfall.

Out on the river this week there was some more interest from the salmon within the river, one was lost and a few others came close which is a positive sign.
