With a lift in levels the previous weekend lots of new fish have moved into the river. Overhead conditions have proved challenging, with bright skies and a risk of thunder never too far away during the second half of the week.

A stealthy approach is always beneficial, especially with light winds. Light tackle and long leaders with small flies in the 12 to 16 range are working best. Hitches are always worth a go too.
