A small rise in levels midweek has helped to cool the water down and also move new fish in with fresh fish caught on the upper river. 

Full floating lines and small flies are the general tactics at the moment. The size of flies is in the 10 and 12 region. 

With grilse now being seen shallow water that would have been overlooked over the past few months will definitely be worth a go with a stealthy approach.
