The colder weather and strong winds have certainly helped with the fishing over the past week. The male fish are slowly becoming more aggressive and are reacting to patterns such as the Red Francis, Calvin shrimp and Sunray shadows stripped fast in the longer slower pools. Stealth is still required when approaching the river as these males in particular can be found in very shallow water.
