After further periods of heavy rain and cool northerly winds the water temperature has dropped quite a bit.

This has seen us fishing with larger flies. However, as the river settles back  fly size will drop to smaller sizes again.

Red flies have always been popular in the autumn. Red Allys shrimp, Calvin shrimp and the red Francis to name a few.
