Weekly Report

Below is the weekly report for Sunday, July 30, 2017

We finished the week with 50 fish, mostly grilse, but with a few larger Summer Salmon amongst them. The theme of July continues with rods seeing  fish, but they have been reluctant to take. The weather has been a real mixed bag with heavy showers putting the river up a few inches on three days and the wind ranging from nothing on one day to strong gusty conditions the next.

Common to other east cost rivers we have had our first pacific pink salmon, the association water had a couple last week, but one was caught on beat two this week. All pink salmon caught should be killed and handed to myself and they will be taken away to be examined to see if there are any clues to their origins.

Next week looks like another week of sunshine and showers, tight lines to everybody visiting us next week.
