We come to the end of another week with the river remaining very low.
The weather has thrown all sorts at us this week from cool overcast conditions to clear blue skies and temperatures up to 27c at one point on Friday.
The promised thunderstorms forecast for the later part of the week did little to increase water levels but did clear the air today (Saturday)
We also took a couple of grilse from beat 2 on Friday and Saturday which were fresh and a few others also seen.
The ground does seem to be wetter than a few weeks ago and if we could get just a good solid few hours rain we may get a lift in river levels we need!
