REPORT
Another week of wet, cold windy weather has come and gone and with little fishing pressure due to these conditions it is little wonder a fish has not been caught.
The first few days of next week is again looking wet, cold and windy with more gales forecast, hopefully the second half of the week will settle down a little and a few rods can get out on the river again.
Thankfully the Thurso has not seen some of the severe flooding that has other parts of the country, which is important for the safe development of the the salmon eggs which still lay dormant before they begin to hatch in the next few weeks.
