Weekly Report

Below is the weekly report for Sunday, May 7, 2017

27 fish for the week, which considering the conditions was a respectable total. For most of the time we endured a strong cold easterly wind coupled with cloudless skies. Most mornings there was a bit of cover, but by 10 o'clock it had burnt off and many of the fish were taken in the early part of the day. A number of Rods were out before breakfast and were rewarded with some good fishing. The fishing was spread out all over the river with fish off most beats.

There are a good number of fish in the river and many of the fish caught were sea-liced. The quality of the fish remains good, with fish of 16lb and 17 lb taken and the rest in the 10 to 13lb range.

Looking forward to next week, we have a full loch and so we will have reasonable water We have been seeing fish running and there are a good number of fish in the system. I think if the weather is on our side we should see a few fish in the book.
