Weekly Report

Below is the weekly report for Sunday, December 15, 2019

Once again it has been a wet week, when we do get a dry day it is quickly followed by periods of heavy rain leaving river  us levels bouncing between 2 and 3 feet all week, but over the last few days a change has become apparent with high pressure taking control of the weather, light winds, blue skies amd hard night time frosts look the likely pattern well into next week.

December tends to be a quite month on the Thurso, most of the fish have done their business up and down the river, daylight hours are very short, and we are still a month away from the beginning of the new season.
