We are now mid-way through February and in the window when we would normally expect our First fish of the season but the weather had other ideas with gales at the start of the week followed but heavy snowfall and hard overnight frosts midweek, it was not until the Friday and Saturday that both river levels and the weather settled and became more manageable with numerous anglers out up and down the river.
