Weekly Report

Below is the weekly report for Sunday, June 7, 2020

This week was certainly a week of two half, a settled warm start was replaced overnight by a drop of temperatures by more than half with 24c on Monday and then  down to 8c overnight into Tuesday morning.

I'm pretty sure the fish within the river didn't take well to this sudden a change but it seemed like they still did not like something as they became very quite as the week progressed, then on friday the weather turned again, with northerly gales and persistent heavy rain making it feel more autumnal than early summer culminating with the river peaking at 28 inches on Saturday night and loch more pouring over the tip of the dam, which  will ensure steady water throughout June and into early July.
