The first few days of the week gave us clear blue skies and light winds and as long as you stayed in the sun it was quite pleasant but this gave us the coldest night of the year on Monday night with temperatures at loch more as low as minus 12.
From Wednesday morning a cold biting easterly wind arrived and has shown no signs of letting up anytime soon. This had seriously curtailed angling effort. Unfortunately this pattern of weather looks as if it may stick around for at least a few weeks.
Tight lines and stay safe
