Fresh fish are still pushing through the river and with a number of pools up and down the river holding a few fish in them there is a good chance of connecting, it all comes down to maximising your chances and making the most of good overhead conditions.

Those fishing lighter outfits such as single handers or switch rods have had more consistent success as the approach is stealthy in comparison to larger rods.

The water temperatures is now up to the late 50s Fahrenheit which has meant fishing smaller flies and hitch flies may also be worth a go.
