Another week has passed us by with the odd shower and apart from some rain in the early hours of Sunday morning I can't see much change in the weather. So next week looks like another week of very small flies and light tackle. The wind last week helped and we took the odd fish higher up the river, so it is worth having a cast on all the beats.
The trout fishing has been difficult with the high winds, many of the shallower lochs tend to get stirred up, but the lochs with stony bottoms tend to be ok.
The sea fishing has also been a casualty of the high winds and we were not able to get out last week, but hopefully we will be able to run a charter this coming week.
Tight line to everybody fishing next week
