The weather has certainly changed from the previous week with the cold temperatures a thing of the past and has been replaced by bright blue skies and temperatures into the late teens and early 20s most days. The early part of next week look like much of the same although early indications are of a change from the west from midweek.
Early mornings and late evenings have proved to be most productive with the brighter daytime conditions, light double handers or switch rods with full floating lines will be perfect for next week but keep a larger double hander on standby for stronger winds.
Hitch flies sunrays and micro coneheads have been doing the business but standard dressed flies in the 10 or 12 size region would be about right.
Please take care on the roads as potholes are STILL an issue.
Tight lines for next week
