With the river dropping away and the water temperature in to the high 40s Fahrenheit the need for larger flies and sinking lines are less required.
A few fish this week have been caught with single handed rods with full floating lines with small conehead tubes around 1" in length. For the most part however 13/14ft rods are still required to combat the strong winds which have prevailed this week.
There are bigger tides for the coming week which should help push a few more fresh fish in to the system.
Tight lines to all rods out next week
